Columbus Concrete Polishing

Light Sand / Cream Finish

Also called cement fines, this is the second-most popular finish. It’s achieved by grinding the floor with progressively finer diamond abrasives until a smooth surface is revealed. A light cream color is imparted to the floor during this process, and very little evidence of aggregate is visible. When sealed, this finish provides good durability and slip resistance. With proper maintenance, it will retain its good looks for many years and will develop a beautiful patina over time. We offer this finish in both a high-gloss and semi-gloss sheen.

Medium Sand / Tan Finish

This is the most popular floor finish we offer and is achieved by grinding the floor with progressively finer diamond abrasives until a smooth surface is revealed. A light tan color is imparted to the floor during this process, and very little evidence of aggregate is visible. When sealed, this finish provides good durability and slip resistance. With proper maintenance, it will retain its good looks for many years and will develop a beautiful patina over time. We offer this finish in both a high-gloss and semi-gloss sheen.

Heavy Sand / Stone Finish

This is a more aggressive grind than the previous two finishes and is achieved by grinding the floor with progressively finer diamond abrasives until a smooth surface is revealed. Light stone color is imparted to the floor during this process, and evidence of aggregate is visible. When sealed, this finish provides good durability and slip resistance. With proper maintenance, it will retain its good looks for many years and will develop a beautiful patina over time. The semi-gloss sheen is the most popular option for this finish.
